Boho Style - Amazon Home
Is it possible to completely furnish a room using only Amazon products? Keep reading and the answer will become clear!
As I was looking for a vacation rental, one common thread stood out on the majority of the properties - they need design help! I’d find a home in a beautiful location but often the interior just left me blah. It was if they were furnished using odds and ends from garage sales and someone’s attic. Don’t get me wrong - I love a good garage sale and one of my favorite past times is haunting thrift stores and FB Marketplace for unique home accessories and even furniture - but you still need a clear design plan and a vision for the room. If not, you’ll end up with a hodge podge of odds and ends in a room sorely lacking in style.
That’s what got me thinking - how can you furnish a short term rental, your son or daughter’s first apartment, or even a room in your own home - with stylish furniture and accessories, without spending a lot of time and effort, AND within a limited budget? Enter Amazon Home Products.
I decided to challenge myself to design a Boho Style living room for under $3,000 - including furniture and all the accessories - excluding plants and TV (dog not included but there are many just waiting for a loving home at your local shelter!). You’ll probably notice that many of the home products are similar to those seen at high end retailers - below is a design board with shopping links so you can compare prices or purchase any of the items. For instance, the Suzani style embroidered pillow covers are just $17.99 - you could easily pay $60 or even over $100 at many home decor stores!
So, the answer is a resounding YES, you can decorate a room all from the convenience of your own home - with free delivery on every item including furniture - and stay under $3,000! This fully furnished room came in at $2,992.47 and has the look of a much more expensive Boho Style living room!
Of course, at this point you could add some of those garage sale finds and really make it uniquely yours! The key is to have a good design plan and then add to it.
